Packing on your phone
Made for one hand
You pack standing up, phone in one hand, the bag in front of you. The list is built for that: large rows, everything that matters within reach of your thumb.
0/9
9 items still to pack
When it helps
- The evening before you leave
- The bag lies open on the floor and you move between the wardrobe and the bathroom. Phone in one hand, whatever goes in the bag in the other – the rows are large enough for your thumb.
- When you are interrupted
- The phone rings, a child calls. When you come back, the progress at the top shows how much is left, and the folded sections tell you what is already done.
- When the list is long
- With 40 items, scrolling becomes a chore. “Hide packed” leaves only what is still open, and the search at the bottom edge finds a single item after a few letters.
- Just before you set off
- In the hallway, keys already in your hand, one last look at your phone: if the top says “40 of 40 packed”, everything is in the bag and you can go.
How it works
Open the list and tap a row – ticked off.
Finished sections fold away by themselves, and the progress sits at the top.
The search at the bottom edge finds any item without scrolling.
Friday evening, packing for the seaside
Tomorrow morning you are off to the sea. The list has two sections and nine items, and three of them are already ticked off. You are standing at the bathroom cabinet with the phone in your left hand, and you tap Sunscreen with your thumb.
Weekend by the sea
- Toiletries
- Toothbrush, Sunscreen, Contact lenses, Hairbrush
- Beach
- Towel, Swim shorts, Sunglasses, Book, Reading glasses
That completes the toiletries, and the section folds away. The top now says “4 of 9 packed”, and below it only the Beach section is left, with five items to go. Where were the reading glasses? You type “rea” into the search at the bottom, tick them off in the result and never have to scroll.
Good to know
- Is there an app?
- No, the site is the app. Use your browser’s share menu to put it on your home screen.
- Can I hide what is ticked off?
- Yes, with “Hide packed”. Then only what still has to go in the bag is left.
- Light or dark?
- Both. The list follows your system; set it for good in the account menu.
