Combine templates
Three templates become one list
Beach holiday plus toiletry bag plus electronics make one list. Sections with the same name are merged, duplicate items dropped, and you see the count before anything is created.

When it helps
- When a trip is made of several parts
- A ski holiday with children is skiing plus children plus a long drive. Instead of keeping one big template for every mix, you keep small ones and put them together anew for each trip.
- When some things are the same on every trip
- Toiletry bag, charging cables, passport: you pack them almost every time. As a small template of their own, you write them down once and add them to any trip with one tap.
- When you want nothing on the list twice
- Three templates simply stacked would give you three toothbrushes and two “Toiletries” sections. Combining brings together what belongs together, so you never stop at a duplicate row while packing.
- When the trip grows later
- On Thursday the weekend away turns into a work trip with a meeting. The list you already have takes the Business trip template: only what is missing is added, and whatever is packed stays ticked off.
How it works
Under “Templates”, tap the circles of the templates that belong to this trip.
The preview shows which sections and how many items the list will get.
Create the list – ready to tick off.
A week in Crete from three templates
For a week on the beach in Crete, you tap three templates: Beach holiday, Standard toiletry bag and Electronics. Together they hold 88 items. Beach holiday already has a “Toiletries” and an “Electronics” section of its own, so each pair becomes one, and the toothbrush, the charging cable and nine more items appear only once. The preview shows you this before you create the list.

Good to know
- What happens to duplicate items?
- If the toothbrush is in two templates, it is in the list once. Sections with the same name become one.
- Can I add a template later?
- Yes. An existing list takes more templates through “Add from template”, by the same rules.
- Where do the templates come from?
- Some are built in, such as beach holiday, ski holiday or camping. Your own come from your lists, or from a single section, through “Save as template”.
