When it helps
- When you make the same trip again and again
- Summer at the coast, Christmas with your parents, the holiday cottage in autumn. Last time’s list is the best place to start, because it shows what actually came along.
- When you want to learn from the last trip
- The review is two questions: what did you not need, and what was missing? Next time the mosquito repellent is not forgotten again, and the jacket that only took up space stays in the wardrobe.
- When you would rather not keep templates
- Not every trip needs a template. If all you want is last time’s list back, archiving it and tapping “Pack again” is enough.
- When it has to be quick
- The work trip to Manchester you have made three times is on again tomorrow. The list is there at once, and you can start ticking straight away.

Crete 2025 becomes Crete 2026
Last summer your list for Crete had six sections and 41 items, all of them ticked off by the end. Back home you reviewed the trip: the light jacket and the trainers came back unworn, and mosquito repellent was missing. A year later you are going again, so you open the archive and tap “Pack again” on Crete 2025.

The new list has 40 items, none of them packed: 41 from last time, minus the two you did not need, plus the one that was missing. Crete 2025 stays in the archive with every tick.
Good to know
- Is the old list lost?
- No. The archived list stays as it was. “Pack again” creates a new one.
- Do I have to review the trip?
- No. Without a review the list is simply taken over, unpacked. With one, the list learns from the trip.
- What if the trip should become a template?
- “Save as template” applies the review in the same way.
